When then-President Barack Obama released five Taliban commanders from the Guantanamo Bay prison in exchange for an American deserter in 2014, he assured a wary public the dangerous enemy combatants would be transferred to Qatar and kept from causing any trouble in Afghanistan.

In fact, they were left free to engineer Sunday’s sacking of Kabul.

Soon after gaining their freedom, some of the notorious Taliban Five pledged to return to fight Americans in Afghanistan and made contacts with active Taliban militants there. But the Obama-Biden administration turned a blind eye to the disturbing intelligence reports, and it wasn’t long before the freed detainees used Qatar as a base to form a regime in exile.

Eventually, they were recognized by Western diplomats as official representatives of the Taliban during recent “peace” talks.

Earlier this year, one of them, Khairullah Khairkhwa, actually sat across the table from President Biden’s envoy to Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad, in Moscow, where Khairkhwa was part of the official Taliban delegation that negotiated the final terms of the US withdrawal. The retreat cleared a path for the Taliban to retake power after 20 years.

“I started jihad to remove foreign forces from my country and establish an Islamic government, and jihad will continue until we reach that goal through a political agreement,” Khairkhwa said at the summit.

After raiding the presidential palace in Kabul, a group of armed Taliban fighters told Al Jazeera that they were arranging to bring back their Gitmo-paroled leadership from Qatar upon securing the capital. One unidentified fighter, who blasted America for “oppressing our people for 20 years,” claimed he had also been locked up at the Guantanamo Bay facility. It’s more evidence Gitmo catch-and-release policies facilitated the fall of Afghanistan to the enemy Washington vowed to crush after 9/11.

The mastermind of the regime change is former detainee Khairkhwa, the Taliban mullah whom Obama released from Gitmo even though the Pentagon classified him as too dangerous to release.

Earlier this year, Khairkhwa assured the administration that the Taliban would not launch a spring military offensive if Biden committed to removing all remaining American troops. He also promised not to retaliate against any Afghans who worked with the US military or the US-backed government in Kabul. But Khairkhwa showed no signs of remorse or rehabilitation inside Gitmo — if anything, he’s probably more embittered to the United States. Why would they believe him?

Reports coming out of Kandahar and Kabul indicate the extremists have already broken their word. Taliban thugs have started a reign of terror against people who cooperated with Westerners. Guided by a “kill list,” they are going door-to-door to punish their enemies.

Special envoy Khalilzad convinced the White House the US-backed government would not collapse and the Taliban would not take over — even though Khairkhwa made it clear he and his fellow mullahs sought to reestablish strict Islamic rule without outside meddling.

Mullah Khairkhwa previously served as the Taliban’s minister of interior in Afghanistan, where he oversaw enforcement of brutal Islamist punishments, including beheadings and stonings. After 9/11, he was arrested in Pakistan and sent to Gitmo in 2002. The Pentagon accused him of closely associating with Osama bin Laden and bin Laden’s al Qaeda henchmen.

Twelve years later, Obama sprung Khairkhwa from jail along with four other top Taliban leaders in exchange for the Taliban releasing US Army Sgt. Robert “Bowe” Bergdahl, who was captured after deserting his post in Afghanistan. Khairkhwa and his fellow parolees, who were immediately flown to Qatar, were the only “forever prisoners” released without being cleared by the Gitmo parole board.

Upon his return, Obama celebrated Bergdahl as a heroic “POW,” a designation the Pentagon never gave him. At the bizarre Rose Garden ceremony, during which Bergdahl’s father praised Allah, Obama asserted: “We’re committed to winding down the war in Afghanistan and closing Gitmo.”

But public opinion rapidly turned against Bergdahl as the facts of his disappearance and capture became known. He ultimately was court-martialed and pleaded guilty to desertion and misbehavior before the enemy. In 2017, he was sentenced to a dishonorable discharge. Last year, the US military’s top appeals court upheld the conviction against him.

Several of his fellow soldiers were seriously injured during search-and-rescue missions launched to find him in Afghanistan. During Bergdahl’s five-year Taliban captivity, the Taliban became more accurate and deadly targeting US convoys and troops.

It’s not clear if then-Vice President Biden was fully on board with Obama’s controversial prisoner exchange. But in a reversal of Trump administration policy, Biden has restarted Obama’s program to release Gitmo detainees as part of a renewed push to close the prison.

Last month, the president released his first prisoner — accused terrorist Abdul Latif Nasser — leaving the number of remaining detainees at 39. Ten others have been cleared for release, while still others have appealed to Biden through their pro-bono defense lawyers to ensure their release, despite the risk of them returning to militant activities like the Taliban Five.

If Obama and Biden had left the five Taliban thugs to rot in Cuba, Kabul more than likely would not be back in the clutches of the Taliban right now. And maybe Americans wouldn’t have sacrificed more than 2,400 troops and $1 trillion in vain.

Actor Matthew McConaughey Announces Decision On Running For Governor Of Texas

    Published

    on

Actor Matthew McConaughey announced on Sunday that he will not run to be the next governor of Texas, a decision that came despite a push from left-wing media for the actor to challenge Republican Governor Greg Abbott.

McConaughey, 52, had previously called for law-abiding citizens to “take one for the team” and give up some of their Second Amendment rights, and he had praised far-left Democrat Beto O’Rourke, calling him a “good man.” McConaughey also said that he had a problem with a recent Texas law that protects unborn babies.

“Listen, over the past two years, I’ve been working on the answer to the question of how I can be most useful in this life going forward — useful to myself, useful to my family, and to the most amount of people,” he said in a video posted to his Instagram account. “One category of service I’ve been exploring is politics. I’ve been considering a run for the governor of Texas.”

McConaughey said that he learned the following while exploring a potential run for governor:

    • “Our politics needs new purpose.”
    • “We have divides that need healing.”
    • “We need more trust in our lives.”
    • “We got to start shining a light on our shared values, the ones that cross party lines, the ones that build bridges instead of burn them.”
    • “Our children are our greatest asset, so, hey, let’s be as good of parents as we can be.”
    • “That freedom comes with responsibility, and that great leaders serve.”

“As a simple kid born in the little town, Uvalde, Texas, it never occurred to me that I would one day be considered for political leadership. It’s a humbling and inspiring path to ponder,” he added. “It is also a path that I’m choosing not to take at this moment.”

“What am I going to do? I’m going to continue to work and invest the bounty I have by supporting entrepreneurs, businesses, and foundations that I believe are leaders, establishments that I believe are creating pathways for people to succeed in life, organizations that have a mission to serve and build trust, while also generating prosperity,” he concluded.

“That’s the American dream. And politicians, the good ones can help us get to where we need to go, yeah. But let’s be clear, they can’t do anything for us unless we choose to do for ourselves.”

Woke ASU Students Issue ‘List of Demands;’ Plan Rally Demanding Kyle Rittenhouse Be Expelled From School

    Published

    on

    The woke mob is relentless.

After Kyle Rittenhouse’s acquittal on all counts earlier this month, leftist student activist groups at Arizona State University have issued a ‘list of demands’ that calls on the school to immediately expel him from campus because they claim he is a white supremacist and a “blood-thirsty murderer.”

In addition to issuing their woke demands, radical student organizations like MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlán), Students for Socialism, Students for Justice in Palestine, and the Multicultural Solidarity Coalition are planning a rally this week to “get murderer Kyle Rittenhouse off [the] campus.”

Rittenhouse is a student at ASU, but he is not on campus and is enrolled as an online student. He has however expressed interest in attending classes in person at the school.

Despite him only attending the college virtually, organizers are ridiculously calling students and faculty to attend the rally in order to “protect students from a violent, blood-thirsty murderer.”

“Even with a not-guilty verdict from a flawed ‘justice’ system – Kyle Rittenhouse is still guilty to his victims and the families of those victims. Join us to demand from ASU that these demands be met [and] to protect students from a violent, blood-thirsty murderer.”

Even though the Rittenhouse case had absolutely nothing to do with race and no evidence was ever presented to indicate Rittenhouse had racist motives at all, the triggered students are also demanding that the school issue official statements condemning white supremacy and “racist” Rittenhouse.

They are also calling on the school to defund campus police and redistribute the funds to the school’s so-called “all-inclusive” multicultural center.

Keep in mind, this multicultural center is the same “safe space” that came into the spotlight in September after a video showed two black students demanding that two white, male students leave the space due to the fact that they are white. One of the unhinged activists can be heard saying: “You’re making the space uncomfortable … You’re white. Do you understand what a multicultural space is? It means you’re not being centered,” while repeatedly telling them to leave.

In addition to the protest and ridiculous list of demands, ASU student Taskina Bhuiya started a Change.org petition against the jury’s verdict, calling for Rittenhouse to be “held accountable for the crimes he has committed.” The posting unironically states “ASU should be a safe and inclusive place for all students, which will be disrupted if Kyle Rittenhouse is allowed to attend this school.”

“Inclusive for all” – that is, unless you must be “held accountable” by the woke mob because they didn’t get the outcome they desired. What a joke.

So far, hundreds have signed the petition “Rittenhouse should pay for his crimes.”

The mob failed to get Rittenhouse once – then twice, even with the help of the establishment – and now the unhinged activists are out for him yet again.

Immediately after the jury rightly acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse on all charges, politicians and media figures lashed out at the judge, the jury, and the US legal system, calling the verdict racist and unjust. With then-candidate Biden calling Rittenhouse a “white supremacist” – and woke mainstream news legal analysts pumping propaganda like calling the trial “white supremacy on steroids” – it’s no wonder these misinformed (or opportunistic) activists still feel emboldened and justified enough to go after this young man despite acting in self-defense against a mob of violent thugs.

Levi Strauss Provides ‘Racial Trauma’ Help For Employees Troubled By Rittenhouse Verdict

    Published

    on

After Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted, Levi Strauss tapped a “racial trauma specialist” to counsel employees.

During a riot last year in Kenosha, Wisconsin, then-17-year-old Rittenhouse — acting in self-defense — killed two men and injured a third. Earlier this month, Rittenhouse was cleared of all charges.

Nevertheless, the iconic clothing company took pains to address employees’ “pain and trauma.”

“With the news that Kyle Rittenhouse was not convicted in the shooting of three individuals — two of whom lost their lives — during racial justice protests last year, this is a difficult day for many,” wrote Levi Strauss chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer Elizabeth Morrison in a letter to staff obtained by the Daily Mail.

“To help promote safety, sharing and to encourage healing, I’ll be hosting a fireside chat and Q&A with Dr. Jamila Codrington, a licensed psychologist and racial trauma specialist in early December,” she continued. “Dr. J and I will talk about the mental and psychical impacts of back-to-back social and racial justice events and trauma coping mechanisms during our discussion.”

Morrison wrote that “resources to help [employees] impact social justice, equality and drive positive change.” She noted the benefits of “getting educated and informed on the issue of gun violence” and “reaching out to your elected officials to let them know just how important common-sense gun laws are to you.”

The Daily Mail reported that Codrington holds staunch left-wing views:

Jamila Codrington is a New York-licensed psychologist who has appeared on various panels, claiming that “black people have been duped into thinking we do not matter.”

Codrington appeared on the Karen Hunter radio show in January for a discussion about how “we must decolonize our minds.”

“One of the main weapons of colonialism and white supremacy was to destroy our memory and to separate us from our wealth – our cultural wealth,” she said.

A Levi Strauss spokesperson confirmed to both the Daily Mail and Fox Business that the email was sent to all employees in the United States.

Beyond Levi Strauss, California State University, Long Beach gave students and faculty the chance to attend a “debriefing” of Rittenhouse’s acquittal, which would be attended by staff from the Counseling and Psychological Services office. University spokesman Jim Milbury told The College Fix in an email, “When there are higher-profile events and issues in the public discourse, it is not uncommon for our university to provide spaces for our campus community to discuss those topics.”

Meanwhile, Douglas Haynes — the chief diversity officer for the University of California, Irvine — told students that the trial “does not end the reckoning about systemic racism in the United States.”

“These multi-racial protests were grounded in a call for racial justice and the end of police brutality,” he wrote. “Rittenhouse imposed himself on the protests in Kenosha. His assistance was not requested. It was as much about resisting the calls of protestors as it was to defend property and render first aid.”

Cruz Responds To Fauci’s Attack On Him In Scathing Statement, Doubles Down On Call For Criminal Probe

    Published

    on

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) responded to an attack from Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the Chief Medical Advisor to the president, on Sunday by doubling down on his call for the Department of Justice to investigate Fauci for alleged false statements that he made while testifying to Congress.

“Anybody who spins lies and threatens and all that theater that goes on with some of the investigations and the congressional committees and the Rand Pauls and all that other nonsense, that’s noise, Margaret, that’s noise,” Fauci said during an interview with CBS News’ Margaret Brennan.

Later, when asked about Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) saying that Fauci should be prosecuted by the Department of Justice, Fauci responded: “Yeah. I have to laugh at that. I should be prosecuted? What happened on Jan. 6, senator?”

Fauci claimed that Republicans were trying to scapegoat him to protect former President Donald Trump and that Republicans who are attacking him are “lying.”

Cruz responded to Fauci’s remarks in a series of tweets late on Sunday afternoon, calling Fauci “an unelected technocrat who has distorted science and facts in order to exercise authoritarian control over millions of Americans.”

“He lives in a liberal world where his smug ‘I REPRESENT science’ attitude is praised,” Cruz said.

Cruz then laid out four “facts” related to his call for the DOJ to investigate Fauci:

    1. On May 11, Fauci testified before a Senate Committee that “the NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”
    2. On October 20, NIH wrote they funded an experiment at the Wuhan lab testing if “spike proteins from naturally occurring bat coronaviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model.” That is gain of function research.
    3. Fauci’s statement and the NIH’s October 20 letter cannot both be true. The statements are directly contradictory.
    4. 18 USC 1001 makes it [a] felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison, to lie to Congress.

“No amount of ad hominem insults parroting Democrat talking points will get Fauci out of this contradiction,” Cruz concluded. “Fauci either needs to address the substance—in detail, with specific factual corroboration—or DOJ should consider prosecuting him for making false statements to Congress.”

Fauci faced additional backlash on Sunday from various officials and commentators:

    • Jeryl Bier, journalist: “This is not helpful in any way. This is almost word for word something a cult leader would say. This persuades no one not already in his corner.”
    • Richard Grenell, former Acting Director of National Intelligence: “Fauci is all about politics.”
    • House Judiciary GOP Twitter account: “Trust the science. Fire Fauci.”
    • Geoffrey Miller, psychology professor: “Fauci’s narcissism, over-confidence, authoritarianism, & hubris are an embarrassment to real working scientists, who tend to value teamwork & humility.”

Top Scientist Blasts Fauci As A ‘Serial Liar,’ Slams Ex-Biden Pandemic Adviser As An ‘Empty Head,’ ‘Dolt’

    Published

    on

Richard H. Ebright, an award-winning scientist and Board of Governors Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Rutgers University, responded to statements made by Dr. Anthony Fauci on Sunday by repeatedly calling Fauci a “serial liar.”

Ebright responded to each of the following comments made on social media by stating, “Serial liars–like Fauci–will be serial liars.”

    • #1: “Fauci is such a tool. The question posed to him in congress was whether he funded gain of function research. He either did or he didn’t. He said he didn’t. New evidence suggests he did. This isn’t a scientific question.”
    • #2: “Fauci: ‘I’m going to be saving lives and they’re going to be lying’ – POLITICO Anyone who’s been this wrong and misled people this much should not hide behind ‘science’ especially when he has so blatantly ignored or misunderstood the ‘science’ throughout.”
    • #3: “Fauci then implied that Senator Ted Cruz should be prosecuted for Jan. 6. ‘And I’m going to be saving lives, and they’re going to be lying,’ he added. He also proclaimed: ‘I represent science! … And if you damage science, you’re doing something very detrimental to society…’”

Ebright criticized Fauci earlier this year after The Intercept obtained hundreds of pages of previously undisclosed information from the NIH that allegedly showed that EcoHealth Alliance used federal grant money to fund dangerous bat coronavirus research in the Chinese labs.

    Ebright said [emphasis added]:

The materials show that the 2014 and 2019 NIH grants to EcoHealth with subcontracts to WIV funded gain-of-function research as defined in federal policies in effect in 2014-2017 and potential pandemic pathogen enhancement as defined in federal policies in effect in 2017-present.

The materials confirm the grants supported the construction–in Wuhan–of novel chimeric SARS-related coronaviruses that combined a spike gene from one coronavirus with genetic information from another coronavirus, and confirmed the resulting viruses could infect human cells.

The materials reveal that the resulting novel, laboratory-generated SARS-related coronaviruses also could infect mice engineered to display human receptors on cells (“humanized mice”).

The materials further reveal for the first time that one of the resulting novel, laboratory-generated SARS-related coronaviruses–one not been previously disclosed publicly–was more pathogenic to humanized mice than the starting virus from which it was constructed and thus not only was reasonably anticipated to exhibit enhanced pathogenicity, but, indeed, was *demonstrated* to exhibit enhanced pathogenicity.

The materials further reveal that the the grants also supported the construction–in Wuhan–of novel chimeric MERS-related coronaviruses that combined spike genes from one MERS-related coronavirus with genetic information from another MERS-related coronavirus.

The documents make it clear that assertions by the NIH Director, Francis Collins, and the NIAID Director, Anthony Fauci, that the NIH did not support gain-of-function research or potential pandemic pathogen enhancement at WIV are untruthful.

Ebright later criticized remarks made by former Biden COVID-19 senior adviser Andy Slavitt, saying that Slavitt was an “empty head” and a “dolt.”

Comedian Canceled by Venue for ‘Inappropriate Jokes’ Gets Last Laugh

    Published

    on

Stand-up comedian Andrew Schulz was set to appear in Toronto, Canada, for a stop in his comedy tour. However the venue he was allegedly booked at decided to cancel the event because he tells “inappropriate jokes.” Schulz not only recovered from being canceled, but he went and sold out an even bigger venue multiple times.

Schulz – a comedian known for his hilarious and biting crowd work – is currently on his “Infamous Tour.” Schulz said he was booked at the Massey Hall in Toronto – his only tour date in Canada.

Schulz claims that management for Massey Hall had second thoughts about hosting his comedy show at its venue.

Schulz said in a video posted on social media, “Massey Hall hit me up a few weeks ago and they said, ‘Hey we have to cancel your shows. We looked you up and you tell inappropriate jokes. And we no longer want inappropriate jokes on our stage so we have to cancel your shows.'”

The politically incorrect comedian also said that the board for Massey Hall found his 4-part Netflix comedy special “Schulz Saves America” to be controversial.

Schulz told blogTO – a website devoted to Toronto culture and entertainment – that he received the notice of the cancellation of his comedy gig at Massey Hall only a week before tickets went on sale.

With other shows already booked for the tour, there was little wiggle room to find another venue in Toronto for that canceled date. Schulz was able to book Meridian Hall, but his team was worried about being able to sell out the venue that had about 400 more seats.

The show sold out in seven minutes.

Schulz added another show at Meridian Hall – it sold out in one hour.

Schulz ended up adding a third show.

“I don’t want to do venues that censor comedy,” Schulz announced on Twitter. “So we’re doing a bigger theater, Meridian Hall and we just added a 3rd show.”

“It turns out the great people of Toronto enjoy some inappropriate jokes,” Schulz said on Twitter.

The stand-up comedian proclaimed, “Comedy and those that support it will always win. The people will accept nothing less.”

Another stand-up comedian who also recently got the last laugh was Shane Gillis. The young comedian was booted off “Saturday Night Live” for controversial remarks made during a podcast. However, Gillis is recognized as one of the up-and-coming stand-up comedians in the country, and his recent comedy special has received millions of views.

Former Pfizer Employee Says Covid Vaccine Causes Recipients to Become More Susceptible to the Virus

    Published

    on

A former Pfizer employee, now working as a pharmaceutical marketing expert and biotech analyst, has provided evidence in a public meeting in September suggesting that Pfizer is aware that these shots can cause those vaccinated to be more prone to contracting COVID-19 and infections.

Whistleblower Karen Kingston, the former Pfizer employee appeared together with medical freedom rights attorney Thomas Renz who presented the data in a public meeting at Clay Clark’s ReAwaken America Tour.

According to the whistleblower, “So, when they weren’t injected, their infection rate was 1.3% and when they got injected, it was 4.34%. It went up by over 300%. They had less infection when they had no protection. So, that’s a problem.”

    Lifesite News reported:

Kingston said, “if you have two doses of Pfizer, your rate for getting infected [with COVID-19] increases over time.”

Leading to a discovery the biotech analyst called “super alarming,” the report looked exclusively at the placebo group, comparing their rate of infection in the first four months, when they had no protection, to the four months following their injections with the Pfizer product.

During that initial placebo period, the document reports that the infection rate of this group was “12.6 cases per 1,000 person-years,” which equates to a 1.3% infection rate. Following their injections, there were “43.4 cases per 1,000 person- years” or a 4.34% infection rate.

“So, when they weren’t injected, their infection rate was 1.3%, and when they got injected, it was 4.34%. It went up by over 300%,” Kingston observed. “That 300% increase is a correlation, it’s not an anomaly.”

Thus, she summarized, “They had less [COVID-19] infection when they had no protection [from the Pfizer shots]. So, that’s a problem.”

While correlation does not prove causation, looking at relevant global data, we find a worldwide trend of high rates of infections, hospitalizations, and deaths among the vaccinated.

This phenomenon of rising cases occurring in association with high vaccine uptake has become a universal trend while there has also been a correlation between COVID-19 vaccine campaigns and rising death rates from the disease as well.

Summarizing the findings of the Pfizer study in the FDA briefing document itself, Renz explained to his large live and streamed audience, “It says if you get the Pfizer vax, you’re more likely to get COVID. More likely! It says it right there.”

Watch the video of Attorney Thomas Renz as he presents the whistleblower data from ‘never before seen vaccine injury/death tracking system.’

Here’s a video of Karen Kingston as she shares the horrifying truth about COVID-19 vaccine:
