How low were the ratings for Sunday night’s telecast of the MTV’s Video Music Awards? So low, lol, the entertainment media are not reporting the numbers.

In fact, the numbers are so low that last year’s record low of 6.4 million viewers, which was itself a catastrophe at the time, now looks like the good old days.

Because the entertainment media live so deep up the butt of ViacomCBS to make these humiliating numbers public, I had to do a little of the math myself.

The VMA’s were broadcast over a handful of cable channels Sunday, including, naturally, MTV.

Last year, on MTV alone, the VMAs attracted 800,000 viewers. This year, that number dropped to just 600,000.

Adding up the remaining channels — Nick-at-Nite’s 202,000 VMA viewers; Comedy Central’s 191,000, BET’s 201,000; NH1’s 149,000; Paramount’s 159,000; TV land’s 150,000; Nick-At-Nite 2’s 96,000; and the CW’s 600,000 — that comes to fewer than three million viewers.

Nobody wants to suffer through your sexless, woke shit, Hollywood. Nobody wants to look at Madonna’s 63-year-old ass, MTV!

Back in 2011, 12.4 million people tuned in. That is a 75 percent crash in just ten years.

But look at how much has changed in ten years. What had been a fun and sexy award show has turned into homework, a show dedicated to smug lectures from smug millionaires. All the fun and sex and joy that’s supposed to come with music aimed at America’s youth has been destroyed by the humorless, joyless Woke Gestapo.

And then to trot out Madonna’s 63-year-old ass. The woman is a bonafide legend, and no one’s protecting her from herself.

What a sad spectacle.

Conservatives Resign from Biden’s Supreme Court Packing Commission

Biden’s Supreme Court Commission released a preliminary draft on Friday.

The Commission came out against expanding the number of Supreme Court justices — but said it does support term limits for justices.

    The Conservative Brief reported:

The U.S. Supreme Court Commission, which was formed by Joe Biden earlier this year, has come out against increasing the number of justices on the high court.

According to preliminary draft materials, the commission also said it supported term limits for justices, who have lifetime appointments.

The same day the preliminary findings were released, two conservatives resigned.

Caleb Nelson and Jack Goldsmith, two conservatives on the Supreme Court Commission, both announced their resignations Friday.

    The Hill reported:

Two conservative members have resigned from the bipartisan panel President Biden assembled to study proposals for reforming the Supreme Court.

The departures Friday came from University of Virginia law professor Caleb Nelson, a former clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas, and Harvard Law professor Jack Goldsmith, former top official in the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel under President George W. Bush.

Nelson confirmed to The Hill that he resigned, adding “it was an honor for me to be part of the Commission.” Goldsmith did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The White House released a statement on the resignations:

“These two commissioners have chosen to bring their involvement to a close,” White House spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement. “We respect their decision and very much appreciate the significant contributions that they made during the last 5 months in terms of preparing for these deliberations.”

The report from Biden’s Supreme Court Commission angered Liberals in Congress.

In a statement, some Liberals lawmakers said that the draft report “misses the mark.”

    The Epoch Times reported:

Left-wing lawmakers are angered by the draft report put out by the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States (PCSCUS) on expanding the Supreme Court.

Progressive members of the House Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), and Reps. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) and Mondaire Jones (D-N.Y.) said the commission’s report is insufficient and Democrats need to pass a law to pack the court.

“The White House Commission on the Supreme Court ‘draft’ misses the mark. After years of Republicans upending precedent, breaking their own rules, and stealing seats on the Supreme Court, we must restore legitimacy and integrity to the Court and undo the damage Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell have inflicted on our democracy,” said the lawmakers in a press statement.

Justice Department Fires Back ‘Terse’ Response After Biden Speaks Out about Jan. 6 Investigation

The Justice Department shot back a “terse” response Friday to President Joe Biden’s suggestion that individuals who ignore subpoenas related to a congressional investigation into the Jan. 6 riots at the United States Capitol should be prosecuted.

While speaking to reporters at the White House, Biden said any individual who ignores subpoenas related to the Jan. 6 investigation should be held “accountable.”

“I hope the committee goes after them and holds them accountable,” Biden said.

When a reporter followed up, asking Biden whether he thinks such individuals should be “prosecuted by the Justice Department,” the president answered in the affirmative.

    “I do, yes,” Biden said.

Justice Department spokesman Anthony Coley fired back a “terse” response late Friday.

“The Department of Justice will make its own independent decisions in all prosecutions based solely on the facts and the law. Period. Full stop,” Coley said.

Meanwhile, White House press secretary Jen Psaki was assigned to damage control duty. She followed up Biden’s remarks by saying the White House supports the Justice Department’s independence in any investigative matters related to Jan. 6.

“As @potus has said many times, January 6th was one of the darkest days in our democracy,” Psaki said. “He supports the work of the committee and the independent role of the Department of Justice to make any decisions about prosecutions.”

Biden’s comments came after a lawyer for Steve Bannon, a top adviser to former President Donald Trump, said Bannon would not cooperate with the congressional committee investigating the riots. The committee is now preparing criminal contempt charges against Bannon for defying a subpoena.

“If the House moves to hold Bannon in contempt, which is likely with Democrats’ slim majority, then the matter will be referred to the U.S. Attorney for Washington D.C. for criminal prosecution,” Politico reported.

A lawyer for Trump has reportedly instructed former top officials not to cooperate with the congressional investigation.

WATCH: Biden Breaks Into Strange Yelling, Mispronounces Multiple Simple Words

It was a bad week for Biden gaffes.

On Friday, the president traveled to the University of Connecticut to deliver a speech rededicating the Dodd Center for Human Rights. Named for the late Sen. Thomas J. Dodd — a prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials, which tried Nazis for their crimes during World War II — the center houses Dodd’s papers from the proceedings.

This should’ve been a slam dunk speech. Indeed, the Mansfield-Storrs Patch called it “personal” and “emotional.” Biden was there with his close personal friend, former Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd, Thomas’ son. What could possibly go wrong?

Roughly a minute into the speech, Biden made his first error.

“We truly are really good, close friends — Sen. Chris Dodd. Chris and I have known each other a long time,” he said, followed by why he thought Dodd is such a stand-up guy: He isn’t one of those “people who tell me they care about people and then disrespect the waitress or a waiter.”

A 1990 GQ piece about the peccadillos of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy dives into a grotesque allegation of sexual assault against a waitress by both Kenndy and Dodd.

As the story goes, the two Democratic senators — both in a state of considerable inebriation — forced the woman into a “waitress sandwich” and only desisted when another worker heard her screams.

Biden apparently didn’t remember that significant blight on Dodd’s career. He also didn’t remember how to pronounce the word “transgender.”

This came during a part of the speech in which Biden bragged that, in his first 10 minutes in office, he “ended the Muslim ban” and “[overturned] the ban on transgender individuals serving openly in the United States military.”

On top of the mispronunciation of “transgender,” it’s good to note that Biden’s people are still advancing the sad, divisive fiction that there was ever a “Muslim ban” by the Trump administration.

Later in the speech, Biden talked about the debasement of human rights around the world, including in China, Myanmar and Ethiopia. That’s fair, but things quickly got weird.

“Silence — as my dad would remind me — silence is complicity,” Biden said. He then began yelling: “That’s what Nuremberg said! Your silence is complicity!”

Biden had earlier talked about taking his kids to Dachau, the Nazi concentration camp where the slogan “Arbeit Macht Frei” — “work sets you free” — hung above the entrance.

“That’s not what I wanted them to see,” Biden said. “I wanted [them] to see the lovely homes that were up against the fence line with their beautiful roofs. People living in there rationalized that ‘It’s not me. I’m not doing this.’”

“I wanted them to see the ability of the human mind to rationalize cannot be underestimated,” Biden said, again breaking into a strange shout.

It’s not difficult to read Biden’s subtext here, particularly given his administration’s rhetoric about the GOP. What is difficult to read, apparently, is the word “Nazi” off a teleprompter.

    Here’s the full speech:

These gaffes are becoming more frequent.

Consider a Wednesday news conference on America’s supply chain crisis. Here Biden tries to come up with the name and title of Mario Cordero, the executive director of the Port of Long Beach:

Biden is tasked with addressing human rights abuses abroad and solving the supply chain problems at home, and this is how he shambled through two speeches in three days.

If this were an isolated incident, it wouldn’t be a big deal. Instead, the isolated incident is when he makes it through a speech unscathed. This should worry every American.

We can’t be sure what’s happening, but no reasonable observer can watch speech after speech like this and conclude nothing’s amiss.

Woman Raped on Train as Video Shows Bystanders Did Not Act, Police Say

A woman was raped by a stranger on a commuter train in suburban Philadelphia in the presence of other riders who a police official said “should have done something.”

Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt of the Upper Darby Police Department said officers were called to the 69th Street terminal around 10 p.m. Wednesday after the assault on the westbound train on the Market-Frankford Line.

An employee of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority who was in the vicinity as the train went past called police to report that “something wasn’t right” with a woman aboard the train, Bernhardt said.

SEPTA police waiting at the next stop found the woman and arrested a man. The woman was taken to a hospital.

Bernhardt called the victim an “unbelievably strong woman” who provided police with a lot of information. She did not know her attacker, he said.

“She’s on the mend,” Bernhardt said. “Hopefully she will get through this.”

The entire episode was captured on surveillance video that showed other people on the train at the time, Bernhardt said.

“There was a lot of people, in my opinion, that should have intervened; somebody should have done something,” Bernhardt said. “It speaks to where we are in society. I mean, who would allow something like that to take place? So it’s troubling.”

Fiston Ngoy, 35, has been charged with rape, aggravated indecent assault and related counts, according to Delaware County court records. Bernhardt said both SEPTA and Upper Darby Police are familiar with Ngoy.

Court documents don’t list a defense attorney, and a listed number for Ngoy could not be found Saturday.

SEPTA issued a statement calling it a “horrendous criminal act” and urging anyone who witnessed it to report it to authorities.

“There were other people on the train who witnessed this horrific act, and it may have been stopped sooner if a rider called 911,” the authority said.

U.S. Officials Sound Alarm On Stunning Chinese Hypersonic Missile Test: ‘No Idea How They Did This’

Communist China tested a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile late this summer that circled the planet before taking aim at its target; a test that has stunned the Biden administration.

“Five people familiar with the test said the Chinese military launched a rocket that carried a hypersonic glide vehicle which flew through low-orbit space before cruising down towards its target,” Financial Times reported. “The missile missed its target by about two-dozen miles, according to three people briefed on the intelligence. But two said the test showed that China had made astounding progress on hypersonic weapons and was far more advanced than US officials realized.”

“We have no idea how they did this,” one of the five people told FT.

“The US, Russia and China are all developing hypersonic weapons, including glide vehicles that are launched into space on a rocket but orbit the earth under their own momentum,” the report added. “They fly at five times the speed of sound, slower than a ballistic missile. But they do not follow the fixed parabolic trajectory of a ballistic missile and are maneuverable, making them harder to track.”

Former Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe warned earlier this year that the Biden administration was in for a shock once they were finally brought up to speed on the advancements that the Chinese military has made in recent years.

Ratcliffe said that “China has closed the gap” in certain areas which he could not reveal because “it poses a national security threat to acknowledge that, but there are places where China’s frankly doing a better job, and it’s further down the curve on some technology issues than we are, and that’s never been the case before.”

The Pentagon is currently trying to find ways to drive down the cost of hypersonic missiles, which are far superior to cruise missiles, but also more expensive.

    Reuters reported in July:

Russia said on Monday it had successfully tested a Tsirkon(Zircon) hypersonic cruise missile, a weapon President Vladimir Putin has touted as part of a new generation of missile systems without equal in the world.

The defence ministry said in a statement that the missile had been fired from the Admiral Gorshkov, a warship located in the White Sea, and travelled at around seven times the speed of sound before hitting a ground target on the coastline of the Barents Sea more than 350 km (217 miles) away.

The Chinese military unveiled hypersonic weapons back in 2019.

“We’re no longer in a period of overwhelming American dominance but rather one in which our armed forces are adapting to fight against near-peer competitors who are fielding increasingly sophisticated capabilities,” said Randall G. Schriver, assistant secretary of defense for Indo-Pacific security affairs. “Instead of expecting to dominate an opponent, our armed forces are learning to expect to be contested throughout a fight while achieving the political objectives set for them.”

The Wall Street Journal highlighted one of the weapons that was revealed that has defense experts concerned:

The Dongfeng-17, or DF-17, is thought to be China’s first operational missile mounted with a hypersonic glide vehicle — capable of flying at more than five times the speed of sound — and the first such weapon deployed anywhere in the world, defense experts said. Once launched, the missile is designed to release a hypersonic glide vehicle that can cruise at relatively low altitude and speeds above Mach 5, or about 3,400 miles an hour, changing direction if needed. That allows it to evade current missile defense systems.

Delta Air Lines CEO Ditches ‘Divisive’ Vaccine Mandate

Delta Air Lines is ditching a vaccine mandate for employees, according to company CEO Ed Bastian, who notably emphasized the “divisiveness” of such an order.

Bastian said announcing a plan to get all employees vaccinated, without enforcing a mandate, has worked, allowing the company to reach a 90% vaccination rate.

“The reason the mandate was put in by [the] president, I believe, was because they wanted to make sure companies had a plan to get their employees vaccinated,” the CEO said, according to Fox Business. “A month before the president came out with the mandate, we had already announced our plan to get all of our people vaccinated. And the good news is the plan is working.”

Bastian “acknowledged that there will need to be religious and medical accommodations made for those who wish to remain unvaccinated while avoiding having to threaten employment status,” Fox Business noted.

“By the time we’re done, we’ll be pretty close to fully vaccinated as a company without going through all the divisiveness of a mandate,” the executive said.

“We’re proving that you can work collaboratively with your people, trusting your people to make the right decisions, respecting their decisions and not forcing them over the loss of their jobs.”

Back in August, Bastian warned unvaccinated employees enrolled in Delta’s health care plan they would be subject to higher premiums to cover increased costs associated with COVID, The Daily Wire reported:

Effective November 1, employees who have not been immunized against coronavirus will face a $200 increase in their monthly payments.

“The average hospital stay for COVID-19 has cost Delta $50,000 per person,” Bastian wrote in the memo. “This surcharge will be necessary to address the financial risk the decision to not vaccinate is creating for our company.”

[…] Other changes detailed in the memo include requiring unvaccinated employees to wear face coverings in all indoor Delta settings, effective immediately.

President Joe Biden in September formally announced his administration would be mandating vaccination, testing, and mask requirements for not just federal employees, but many private businesses, too.

“Companies with at least 100 employees must require their employees get vaccinated or submit to weekly COVID-19 tests under a new Biden administration plan to combat the coronavirus and encourage vaccination,” The Daily Wire reported at the time. “President Joe Biden is scheduled to outline a revamped federal strategy to address COVID-19 that includes far more invasive regulations and restrictions than the federal government has put in place to date. Part of Biden’s six-point plan involves cracking down on 100+ employee companies to push their employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19.”

Last week, Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly blamed Biden for the airline’s decision to enforce a vaccine mandate on its employees.

“I’ve never been in favor of corporations imposing that kind of a mandate,” Kelly told CNBC. “I’m not in favor of that, never have been. But the executive order from President Biden mandates that all federal employees and then all federal contractors, which covers all major airlines, have to have a vaccine mandate in place by December 8. So we’re working through that.”

Southwest had to cancel thousands of flights, starting last weekend. Curiously, the company has seemed to blame everything outside of the vaccine mandate, including weather.
