Adjustments might take a little of the sting out of the news that Sunday night’s Emmy telecast was a ratings catastrophe, but any adjustment will only make the nightmare a little less nightmarish. Instead of being the lowest-watched Emmys in its 69-year history, Sunday night’s telecast might be able to squeak into the second-lowest.

As of now, though, it looks as though all that promised Trump-hating resulted in a record low, which is especially shocking (at least to bubbled Hollywood) because last year everyone was certain the bottom had been hit.

Regardless, the die is cast. Last night was yet-another ratings flop for Hollywood’s Beautiful People. As of now it looks as though fewer than 11.3 million viewers tuned in to watch host Stephen Colbert’s hate-fest. That would mean the 69th Emmy telecast had fewer viewers than last year’s 68th, which currently holds the all-time low ratings record.

What we do know for sure is that the 8.2 overnight rating is lower than 2016’s 8.4. Even in the coveted 18-49 age group, TVs Greatest Night flopped with a pathetic 2.8, which proves that even young people are tired of watching rich elites publicly work through their inability to come to terms with losing the 2016 presidential election.

This news, of course, comes just days after the ratings for the MTV Awards hit their own record low.

What has to be especially galling to Colbert and his fellow social justice glitter-warriors, is that in a country of 330 million, fewer than five percent tuned in, cared to watch even a minute of the show, was not in the least interested in their Big Thinks on issues n’ stuff, including President Trump who, despite the unrelenting hate campaigns from the media and Hollywood, still holds (if you believe the polls) a 40% approval rating. We all know it is higher, especially in the only states that matter.

As Hollywood has gotten more political, more divisive, more bigoted towards Normal People, and more hateful, take a look at the nuclear fallout. America is more red, more Republican-led than at anytime since Reconstruction. On every level, Democrats have been wiped out of electoral office.

Hollywood is a total liability to its own cause.

As awful as the Republican Party is — and it is awful — America looks at bigoted freaks like Colbert and cannot imagine putting such flaming hatred and intellectual incoherence in charge of the country. One Obama was enough.

These raging, terrorist-supporting, spittle-flecked, mean-spirited multi-millionaires are the Democrat Party’s worst nightmare come to life, the most unappealing spokespeople imaginable.

But look at the movie box office, the Oscar ratings, and last night’s Emmy ratings… Hollywood is not just bad for the Democrat Party, Hollywood is bad for Hollywood.

And it is not that normal people hate Hollywood…

All we are guilty of is hating Hollywood back.

There’s a difference.

Judge Orders Portions of Trump FBI Raid Affidavit to be Unsealed

    Published

    on

A federal magistrate judge ordered Thursday that the Justice Department make public portions of the affidavit that was used to obtain a warrant to search former President Donald Trump’s home last week.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce E. Reinhart gave the U.S. government until next Thursday to make redactions to sensitive portions of the affidavit that could potentially compromise the ongoing criminal investigation.

“I’m going to move forward in that way,” Reinhart told prosecutors and various media organizations that had sued to get documents related to the case unsealed.

Reinhart said that if there was a disagreement between the U.S. government and the Court that “obviously I win.”

“This is going to be a considerate, careful process,” he added.

Justice Department counterintelligence chief Jay Bratt argued in court that unsealing the affidavit was a meaningless exercise because by the time prosecutors were finished with redacting sensitive portions of the document, the final product would “not edify the public in any meaningful way.”

“Disclosure at this juncture of the affidavit supporting probable cause would, by contrast, cause significant and irreparable damage to this ongoing criminal investigation,” Bratt argued in a court filing earlier this week. “If disclosed, the affidavit would serve as a roadmap to the government’s ongoing investigation, providing specific details about its direction and likely course, in a manner that is highly likely to compromise future investigative steps.”

The criminal investigation into Trump was launched after the National Archives discovered last year that Trump had taken government records when he left office that they were supposed to receive. Officials reviewed more than a dozen boxes that Trump returned earlier this year and discovered that many documents were marked as classified. The National Archives contacted the DOJ and the DOJ, in turn, convened a federal grand jury.

A subpoena was subsequently issued to retrieve the remaining documents. Trump’s advisers urged him to return the documents, but he decided against doing so. Investigators visited Trump’s Florida residence at Mar-a-Lago in June and were shown by Trump’s lawyers the storage area where some of the classified material was being kept. The investigators left with the classified material. After that visit, at least one of Trump’s lawyers reportedly signed a written statement saying that all the classified information had been returned.

After the meeting, those investigators told Trump’s team that they needed to take additional steps to further secure the room where some White House records were being stored. Subpoenaed surveillance footage from outside the storage room showed that boxes were shuffled in and out of the room over a two-month period. At some point during the investigation, a source close to the president gave the FBI information that led them to believe that there was additional classified material on the property.

During the FBI’s raid on Trump’s home last week, which U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland authorized, investigators recovered at least 4 sets of top secret documents, 3 sets of secret documents, and 3 sets of confidential documents during their search.

Gov. DeSantis Announces 20 Charged for Voter Fraud in Florida

    Published

    on

Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Florida Republican, announced on Thursday that 20 people in his state have been charged with voter fraud.

Most of those charged hailed from Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami Dade counties and voted in 2020 despite being prohibited from voting due to convictions of murder or sexual assault, DeSantis revealed. Voter fraud is a third-degree felony in Florida, and those convicted of it could face a fine of up to $5,000 and up to five years behind bars.

“It’s not just going to be 20 arrests — this is the opening salvo of an office that was just set up on July 1,” DeSantis said. “This is the first step. There will be more that happen over the weeks and months [ahead]. And hopefully there’s not a lot of cases that need to be prosecuted for 2022.”

Under Florida law, people convicted of murder or sexual assault are disenfranchised from voting unless they adhere to the proper restoration process, which the 20 people who face charges failed to do, DeSantis said.

He teased that the state has opened a number of reviews pertaining to elections, such as people voting in multiple districts and illegal immigrants casting their ballots in violation of Florida law.

“Now this is only one class of voters that we know have violated the law. There are investigations ongoing into people that have voted in two different jurisdictions, and I imagine you are going to see prosecutions on that,” DeSantis said. “We also have folks who are voting who are illegal aliens.”

State authorities are in the process of arresting the 20 people, he said. The flurry of charges is the result of a collaboration between the Office of Election Crimes and Security and Florida’s Office of the Attorney General.

“And you may think that 20 voters is not a lot, but you’re in Broward County, and you know that you just elected a person to Congress this year by five votes,” Peter Antonacci, the director of the Office of Election Crimes and Security, said during a press conference Thursday.

Last month, Florida’s Office of Election Crimes and Security went “live” after DeSantis supported the office’s creation in response to the 2020 election, when supporters of former President Donald Trump peddled heavily disputed claims that election fraud wrongly deprived Trump of victory.

DeSantis argued that Florida carried out one of the best elections in the country in 2020, but he conceded that there was room for improvement and touted election integrity measures Florida’s legislature recently enacted. This includes reforms such as creating the Office of Election Crimes and Security, banning “Zuckerbucks,” and prohibiting ballot harvesting.

“You can have all these great policy reforms, and it’s important to do it, but if it’s not actually enforced, then what difference is it going to make at the end of the day. The fact of the matter is if there are certain rules and regulations in place, if people don’t think that those are going to be enforced, you’re going to have more violations,” DeSantis said.

DeSantis also revealed that 67 supervisors of elections are being ordered to preserve documents pertaining to the 2020 election.

The Thursday event was billed as a “major announcement” on upholding election integrity laws, according to his office.

Brian Stelter Torched After Being Ousted By CNN: ‘Contemptible, Vapid, and Unbearably Smug’

    Published

    on

CNN host Brian Stelter was mocked online Thursday after news broke that the network was canceling his low-rated hyper-partisan news program.

Stelter, who will host his final episode on Sunday, said in a statement that it was a “rare privilege” to lead a show that examined what he claimed was the “truth.”

“CNN will end its ‘Reliable Sources’ program on Sunday, August 21st,” a spokesperson for the network said in a statement. “As a result Brian Stelter will leave the company. We appreciate his contributions to the network and wish him well as he embarks on new endeavors.”

New CNN chief Chris Licht reportedly informed Stelter of the decision to cancel his show, “Reliable Sources,” yesterday. Licht started to evaluate the hyper-partisan “talent” at the network shortly after he joined CNN as he aimed to dial down the extreme partisanship that has plagued the network in recent years.

News of Stelter’s ouster from the network sparked a wide range of comments mocking him, with many saying that he had a toxic impact on the news industry.

“Brian Stelter was the most contemptible, vapid, and unbearably smug news-tv character of the past two decades. Good riddance,” Washington Examiner columnist Harry Khachatrian wrote on Twitter. “His departure has ameliorated cable news.”

“Everyone’s dunking on Brian Stelter since his show got canceled, but I honestly feel really bad for his fan,” conservative political commentator Allie Beth Stuckey said.

Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Monica Crowley tweeted, “Brian Stelter AND Liz Cheney getting canned the same week is like Christmas, Mardi Gras and Independence Day all at the same time.”

“Goodbye @brianstelter you’re a garbage guy and I hope you never work in journalism again,” Comfortably Smug, a popular conservative Twitter account, wrote on social media.

“Brian Stelter was the product of a new paradigm in American media, where journalists see themselves as a prestigious guild with a specific set of class interests,” National Review writer Nate Hochman tweeted. “His job was to defend his guild, no matter what — even if it came at the cost of the truth.”

WATCH: Enraged Father Responds to Overhearing Doctor Ask 3-Year-Old Son What His Gender Is

    Published

    on

A new video that focuses on the gender-transition madness sweeping America has resonated with the Twittersphere with more than half a million views as of Wednesday.

The video, posted to Twitter on Sunday on the Libs of TikTok account, shows an unidentified man sitting in the front passenger’s seat of a car as he recounts an experience he said he had with a doctor.

The date the video was made isn’t clear.

“So we just took my 3-year-old son to the doctor for a checkup — my 3-year-old son,” the man begins. “And there’s a reason why I’m emphasizing that, and you’re about to know why.

“So my wife and I are waiting in the room with our son, and the doctor comes in, and he sees my son sitting there at the table, and the first question that he asks him is, ‘Are you a boy or are you a girl?’”

The man said he and his wife exchanged “what the f***” looks of concern and bafflement.

“So luckily my son understands obvious tenets of biology at 3 years old and says that he’s a boy, just like his chart says,” the man said.

“The rest of the appointment I couldn’t even focus because I’m wondering why in the world this guy is asking the question. And then I remembered, ‘Oh, yeah, I live in California.’”

The man noted that his concern is not just based on his experience, but what is taking place around him.

“Call me paranoid, but this is where I think we’re heading based on other things that have happened,” he said.

The man referenced a 2018 story from The Washington Times headlined “Religious parents lose custody of transgender teen for refusing hormone treatment.”

In the clip, the man also referenced a 2019 BBC story with the headline, “Texas parents battle in court for custody of transgender child.”

The man also cites a 2019 Heritage Foundation article that said the Equality Act “could lead to more parents losing custody of kids who want ‘gender transition.’”

“So again, call me paranoid, but I’m wondering if the doctor’s asking the question of my son to see if he can establish a pattern over time that shows that my son wants to be a girl,” the man said in the video.

“But here’s the thing: My son is 3. I’m not even going to let him choose what he wants for dinner. And some days, my son thinks he’s a dinosaur. But I’m not going to let him transition to a dinosaur. …

“I don’t think it’s going to be long before we start seeing parents lose custody of their young kids because they’re not letting them transition to the opposite gender. And I think pediatricians are going to be the ones who are going to start calling it out.”

WATCH: Finnish PM Being Urged to Take Drug Test After Videos of Her Partying With Celebs Leak Online

    Published

    on

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin is being urged to take a drug test after videos of her partying it up with her celebrity friends leaked online.

The 36-year-old has defended the footage and insisted that she was not on drugs when the videos were taken.

“I have not used drugs myself, or anything other than alcohol. I’ve danced, sung and partied and done perfectly legal things,” Marin, one of the youngest heads of stste in the world, said at a press conference on Thursday.

The New York Post reports, “in the recordings, which were purportedly taken from a private Instagram account, Marin and a group of pals — among them Finnish musicians, TV personalities and politicians — are seen dancing and singing.”

“Dressed in a black tank top and a pair of white pants, the glamorous prime minister of Finland could be observed gyrating her hips, pumping her fists with enthusiasm and making funny faces with her girlfriends for the camera, in what appears to be a private apartment,” the report continues.

After the footage leaked, Finnish Member of Parliament Mikko Kärnä, from Marin’s coalition partner Centre Party, publicly called for Marin to be drug tested.

“Just for the sake of the discussion in public, it would be wise if the Prime Minister @MarinSanna voluntarily went through a drug screening, the results of which would be made public by an independent body,” Kärnä said, according to an automatic translation. “The people are also allowed to expect this from their prime minister.”

During the press conference, Marin said that it is “not a problem to take a drug test,” but she is unhappy that it is even being requested.

“I haven’t used any drugs, so it’s not a problem to take a drug test, but I also think it’s quite special that something like this is required,” she told reporters.

College Student Walks Away With $110 Million After Latest Meme Stock Craze

    Published

    on

A student at the University of Southern California reportedly earned $110 million on Tuesday by selling his shares in Bed Bath & Beyond at the height of a meme stock craze.

The stock price of Bed Bath & Beyond soared from $4.96 to $27.21 between July 18 and noon on August 16, reflecting a nearly 449% increase in less than a month as traders on social media coordinated to buy shares. Before the price began to decrease, Jake Freeman — an applied mathematics and economics major — dumped the entirety of his stake, netting $110 million.

“The significant appreciation of BBBY’s share price combined with the fact that I am leaving for school tomorrow played critical roles in closing the Position,” he wrote on Reddit.

Freeman purchased 5 million shares at $5.50 each last month using $25 million he raised from friends and family, according to Fortune, earning himself a 6.2% passive stake in the company. He made the purchase after a dismal first-quarter report showing the home goods retailer’s sales had plunged 25%, even as the company maintained $3.3 billion in debt and a mere $107 million in cash on its balance sheet.

“I feel that my acquisition of the Position was a watershed moment for BBBY, and I hope that in one form or another BBBY is able to capitalize off of this increased price to realign their balance sheet and operate for decades to come,” he added on Reddit. “I am truly going to miss being able to say ‘I am the second largest non-institutional shareholder of Bed Bath & Beyond,’ but I am certainly going to be shopping at BBBY tomorrow.”

Freeman celebrated his successful investment by going out to eat with his parents in the New York City suburb where they live. “I certainly did not expect such a vicious rally upwards,” Freeman said in an interview with Financial Times. “I thought this was going to be a six-months-plus play … I was really shocked that it went up so fast.”

While Freeman emerged victorious from the Bed Bath & Beyond fiasco, many institutional investors endured heavy paper losses. Investors with short positions lost $662 million on paper over the past month, including a $218 million hit on Tuesday, data analytics firm S3 Partners told Bloomberg. Short sellers effectively bet against companies by borrowing shares, selling them on the stock market, and buying back the shares at a later date to return to the original owners — a strategy that results in a profit if the stock price declines.

The surge in Bed Bath & Beyond stock occurs over a year after traders coordinating their efforts online agreed to purchase stock in GameStop and AMC, as well as cryptocurrencies such as Dogecoin. Investors shorting GameStop marked losses of over $70 billion, with hedge fund Melvin Capital losing 53% of its value in the wake of the meme trading surge.

Celebrity business magnates, including Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, publicly lauded the meme trading. SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk likewise told traders to give “no respect” to “shorty apologists.”

“Old days where a hedge fund manager could quietly short a stock, then publish negative research and take a bullhorn to it in the media are over,” Canadian entrepreneur Kevin O’Leary said of the trend last year. “They now run the risk that the power of the crowd will turn on them and squeeze their heads like a teenage pimple.”

WOKE: 10-Year-Old Celebrated as Youngest Transgender Model on New York Fashion Week Runway

    Published

    on

A ten-year-old child who reportedly identifies as transgender just became the youngest transgender model to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week.

Noella participated in the Trans Clothing Company show, which was created by designer Mel Atkinson, according to Metro.

“It feels good that I’m already inspiring trans kids to be themselves,” Noella said of the appearance.

Current guardians Ray and Dee McMaher told the publication that Noella, a biological male, began socially transitioning at the age of 4. Both parents identify as non-binary, per Noella’s Instagram account.

“Noella really doesn’t ever get nervous or scared by anything. She’s a tiny professional,” Dee said of the child on the runway. “She was so excited to go down the catwalk, excited to see all the people and the cameras. She knows exactly how to work a crowd.”

“We are so proud of Noella for being the first trans child in New York Fashion Week, we are in awe with her confidence and determination,” the child’s parent continued. “Noella already has so many transgender people of all ages contact her for advice, support.”

“Noella is very outspoken and an amazing advocate for other trans kids. It’s great that she can provide this trans visibility on a global scale. She is showing them that trans is beautiful.”

Dee explained that a toddler-aged Noella used to throw tantrums over certain clothing, which led the child’s parents to seek therapy. That’s when Dee says Noella claimed to be a girl.

“Noella had a rough start to life as she was extremely unhappy being perceived as a boy,” Dee said. “Even when she was two, she said she’s not a little boy.”

The child’s parent went on to describe what happened after “socially transitioning” Noella into a girl.

“She would refuse to wear boy clothes and have tantrums because she was so young, she knew what she wanted but didn’t have the words to say it. I should have known earlier as she hated anything masculine so I brought her to a gender clinic,” Dee explained.

“She blossomed as soon as we realized and allowed her to finally be herself. When she was seven, she legally changed her name,” Noella’s parent continued. “She also began modeling on catwalks. It has been so incredible and pure seeing her embrace who she is. She has no fear when on stage and knows exactly how to work the crowd and camera.”

Finally, Dee insists that the child is the one pushing to go public.

“As a parent of a transgender child, it is my duty to protect her and make sure she is safe,” Dee told Metro. “But Noella is an activist for transgender rights and she wants to put herself out there. For ten years old, she is very mature for her age and self assured.”

“She wants to show other transgender kids that it is ok to socially transition and accept who they are,” Dee explained. “She is the first person to tell others that they are wrong when they are being discriminative. She is so passionate about raising awareness of transgender people – she is going to make a difference in this world.”

Social media reactions voiced concerns over the parents pushing Noella into being an activist, especially considering that they are both non-binary.

“Look at the background of the little boy’s parents. They had already made the decision for him as a baby that they wanted a ‘trans child’ to promote their own agenda,” one Twitter user said after posting an image of Dee’s Twitter page, which includes they/them pronouns.

“Jesus! This could have been me! At aged 2 I refused to dress in girls clothes and wanted to be a boy. Fortunately my parents did nothing and I eventually grew out of my tomboy phase,” someone else agreed.

“I just googled Noella’s parents and ‘both Noella’s parents are trans masc.’ Something feels very off here,” a third person observed.
